I am a 1995 graduate of John L. LeFlore High School of Communication and Arts. I received my Certified Nursing Assistant from Bishop State Community College in 1998. I then received my Elementary Education Bachelor's Degree from Tougaloo College in 2002. In 2014, I received my Master's Degree from The University of West Alabama in Early Childhood Education. I am highly qualified in both Elementary and Early Childhood Education.

The 2015-2016 school year marks my 14th year educating young children. I taught kindergarten for 3 years in Jackson, Mississippi. This will be my 11th year teaching Pre-K here at Maryvale. I really enjoy teaching the little ones because I get to see their little faces light up when they know they have done something to the best of their ability! I love all of my students as if they are my own. I've always treated my students with love and respect, but once I became a mom, it really hit me how important it is to love all children no matter who they are or where they come from. My passion is educating and I cannot see myself doing anything else.

My name is Dionica Bryant-Davis and I teach Pre-K here at Maryvale Elementary School.  I was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama by two wonderful parents, George and Mary. I am the youngest of three children. I love spending time with my family and friends. In 2014, I married Thamus Davis, and we have two children, Jasmine and Parker.
